Q1. Vowels are classified in terms of the height of the tongue
(high, mid, or low), part of the tongue (front, central, or back), lip rounding
(rounded or unrounded), and tenseness or laxness. You are required to
sufficiently read about vowel classification (for example, topic 131 has some
details about it.) and classify the vowels used in the words given in the first
column according to their distinguishing points. First one is done for your
understanding.
